During your stay at Vita Rama Health Center you will have the opportunity to enjoy truly delicious and healthy food - prepared with care and attention. Our menu is designed to satisfy even the most demanding tastes with a variety of foods, dishes and an abundance of different flavors.
Types of food
Whole food plant-based nutrition according to Vita Rama Health System consists of a variety of whole plant foods - raw and cooked. The main foods we use are: fruits, vegetables, grains, legumes, seeds, nuts, olives, avocados. These foods provide the optimal amount of carbohydrates, proteins, quality fats, fiber, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants that our body needs. The menu does not include animal products, highly processed and refined foods, all types of processed fats, alcohol and coffee.
Healthy cooking methods
In order to preserve the healthy effect of the food maximally, we apply gentle culinary technologies, such as: soaking, germination, fermentation, steaming, cooking and baking to certain temperatures.
Proper food combination
The right combination of foods as well as the right time to consume them is just as important. By combining foods according to certain rules, we guarantee the best effect on your health.
Food quality is very important to us. Our main priority At Vita Rama Health Center is the health of our guests. That's why we use only products of high quality and safe origin.
Our kitchen has high requirements and established standards for cooking healthy food. All food safety systems are applied in the process of food preparation. Our culinary team is highly qualified and fulfills its obligations to the standards of clean and healthy food.
In the presence of allergies or various food intolerances, you can be sure that we will offer you food suitable for your needs.
In the morning you will find a variety of freshly squeezed fruit and vegetable juices, as well as a selection of fresh fruits that will provide you with the necessary dose of vitamins and minerals for a good start of your day.
Juices and smoothies
Juices from freshly squeezed fruits and vegetables from which you can choose are apple, carrot, beet and others. You can combine them entirely to your liking. AFA blue-green algae - a concentrated source of antioxidants are also present at breakfast. For the smoothie lovers, we offer special ones made with banana and dates (different types for children and adults).
Fruits are the best food we can eat in the morning. They are delicious and nutritious and give us a boost of energy. A variety of fresh seasonal fruits such as bananas, apples and oranges will be part of your complete breakfast.
The herbal teas we offer are a great addition to breakfast. Our specialists have selected for you teas from different types of herbs.
LUNCH AND DINNER
For lunch and dinner we offer complete and satisfying plant-based meals with a huge selection of: salads, soups, main dishes, dips, pâtés, dressings and breads.
For lunch and dinner you can combine different types of vegetables to your own taste and enjoy a fresh and a delicious salad. Some of the raw vegetables you can choose from are: leafy greens (spinach, arugula, lettuce, iceberg), grated carrots, beets, ground apple, cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers and more. In addition to your salad, you can add sprouts - an invaluable food rich in nutrients. Fermented foods are also present and complement the menu in a great way.
Dressings and sauces
To flavor your salad, we have prepared for you delicious dressings made from nuts, seeds, olives, avocado and tofu - perfectly flavored and completely healthy! Olive sauce, sunflower pesto and walnut sauce are just a few of them…
Soups are also a part of our menu during your stay. They are prepared with a variety of seasonal vegetables, such as carrots, potatoes, zucchini, celery, peas, corn, green beans and others. They are flavored with aromatic and fresh spices. They are even liked by our youngest guests!
Dips and pâtés
During our Health programs we prepare for you different types of dips and pâtés made from vegetables and legumes. They are perfectly delicious consumed alone or spread on bread!
We offer a variety of breads - sourdough, crispy einkorn breads, gluten-free breads made from gluten-free cereals, aromatic vegetables and spices.
Traditional Bulgarian cuisine
We have included a variety of Bulgarian traditional dishes in our menu. We have traditional dishes prepared in a healthy way - bean stew, stuffed peppers with rice, red lentil stew, "mish-mash" (tofu scramble), "banitsa", potato stew with peas, baked potatoes with dill, zucchini with rice, potato "meatballs" and more!
During your stay you will be able to try our dishes from different cuisines. Some of our interesting offers are: Italian pasta, sushi with wasabi and soy sauce, pizza, "fried" potatoes, risotto with olives, "fish soup" with seaweed, dishes with Indian flavor and much more. All prepared entirely according to the Vita Rama Health System!
We have also prepared something for those of you with a sweet tooth! We will delight you with healthy desserts prepared by a special technology. Some of our desserts are gluten-free muffins and cakes, low-calorie and low-fat chocolate creams.
